Attorney Hatem has practiced in three primary areas since 1984- bankruptcy, real estate and civil trial work. In his bankruptcy practice he primarily represents debtors, but also creditors, in
cases under Chapter 7, Chapter 13 and Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code. He is a member of M.A.S.H., Maine Attorneys Saving Homes and serves as both a mediator and counsel for people going through
Maine’s Foreclosure Mediation Diversion Program.
Attorney Hatem also manages a diverse real estate practice, including land development and approval work, commercial and residential leases, and commercial and residential closings. Additionally, he
handles civil trial work at the District court and Superior Court levels and in Bankruptcy Courts in Maine, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
